Vivo X300 Series Launched Globally With 200-Megapixel Zeiss Camera, Up to 6.78-Inch Display: Price, Features

Vivo X300 Pro was launched globally on Thursday, alongside the vanilla Vivo X300. Both handsets are powered by the recently unveiled 3nm octa core MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. While the Vivo X300 features a 200-megapixel primary rear camera, the Pro model gets a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. The standard model sports a smaller AMOLED display and weighs about 190g. Meanwhile, the Vivo X300 Pro is heavier, weighing around 226g. The Pro model also sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen.

Opening in Zanzibar in the aftermath of independence, his 11th novel, Theft, spans half a century as it documents the lives of Karim, Fauzia and Badar. We learn how young Karim is treated as “an afterthought” by his mother, Raya, who divorces her much older husband and leaves her son behind to start a new life.

Mother and son are reunited several years later in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, where Raya has married a pharmacist named Haji. Karim, who grows up to be handsome, intelligent and more than a little conceited, gets a scholarship to study in the city and meets Fauzia, who is training to be a teacher and is keen to avoid the fate of other “mute daughter[s] laid out for deflowering”. She and Karim marry, and the pair open their home to Badar, a former servant of Raya and Haji’s who was abandoned by his parents as a child.

Google Maps Is Reportedly Developing a New Power Saving Mode for Navigation

Google Maps appears to be developing a new mode that will reduce battery usage during navigation. Reference to the feature was reportedly spotted on the APK teardown of Google Maps for Android. Users may also be able to activate the Power Saving mode directly within the Google Maps app. The UI may show a monochrome design in this mode, leaving only the most essential navigation elements visible.
