Oppo has reportedly integrated artificial intelligence (AI) technology into its after-sales service system. As per the report, the Chinese smartphone brand has deployed its in-house AI model AndesGPT to its customer support service. The company is said to believe that the AI integration will enable its users to get quick responses from the company even during off-hours and on holidays.

Z.ai Releases GLM-4.5 and GLM-4.5-Air Open-Source Agentic AI Models

Chinese artificial intelligence (AI) lab Z.ai announced the release of two new open-source GLM models on Monday. Dubbed GLM-4.5 and GLM-4.5-Air, the AI firm calls them its latest flagship models. Both of them are hybrid reasoning models that offer a thinking mode for complex reasoning and tool use, and a non-thinking mode for instant responses. Additionally, the company says these models support agentic capabilities.

Kiran Desai, Tash Aw and David Szalay are among the authors nominated for the 2025 Booker prize, on a longlist that features writers from nine different nationalities – the most global list for a decade.

The judging panel, which this year includes Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker alongside Ayọ̀bámi Adébáyọ̀ and chair of judges Roddy Doyle, also chose books by Katie Kitamura, Andrew Miller, Ben Markovits and Jonathan Buckley as part of their “Booker dozen” longlist of 13 titles.
