Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 Smart Glasses Launched With 2X Battery Life, 3K Ultra HD Camera
Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 was unveiled at the Meta Connect 2025 event on Thursday. The successor to the 2023 Ray-Ban Meta comes with significant battery and camera upgrades, as well as a large number of colour and frame choices. The glasses can now capture videos and photos in 3K resolution.
Meta Ray-Ban Display Smart Glasses Launched With AR Screen and Meta Neural Band
Meta on Wednesday unveiled the Ray-Ban Display smart glasses at its Meta Connect event, succeeding the Ray-Ban Meta Glasses launched in 2023. The new model retains the ultra-wide camera, microphones, and open-ear speakers but adds a heads-up display on the right lens. It also ships with an sEMG wristband, enabling gesture-based controls for users.
Oakley Meta Vanguard Smart Glasses With a Centrally-Placed Camera Launched, Aimed at Athletes
At Meta Connect on Thursday, Oakley debuted the Meta Vanguard smart glasses, designed for athletes and outdoor use. Unlike the Ray-Ban Meta series, the Sphaera features a wraparound build and a centrally positioned camera. The launch comes alongside the Ray-Ban Display and third-generation Ray-Ban Meta glasses. Meta had briefly teased the Sphaera in a YouTube video earlier this week.
