Xiaomi 17, Poco F8 Series and Redmi Note 15 Listed on IMDA Certification Website Hinting at Imminent Global Launch

Xiaomi and its subbrands are gearing up to launch a slew of smartphones in global markets soon. Ahead of the official announcement, they have been spotted on the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) certification site. The purported listing suggests the model numbers and a few connectivity options of the phones. The devices spotted include a global variant of Xiaomi 17, Poco F8 Pro, Poco F8 Ultra and Redmi Note 15 4G.

Vivo X300 to Be Available in India-Exclusive Red Colourway, Tipster Claims

Vivo X300 Pro and Vivo X300 were unveiled in China on October 13 with a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and a Zeiss-powered triple rear camera unit. The handset is rumoured to launch in India in December, after it was unveiled globally on October 30. Now, a tipster has shared a render of the vanilla Vivo X300, which suggests that it will be offered in an India-exclusive red colourway. Moreover, only the standard model is said to offer this shade, which means the Vivo X300 Pro and Vivo X300 FE might not get the new colour.

CERT-In Warns Google Chrome Users of High-Risk Flaws on Windows, macOS, and Linux

The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has issued a high-risk advisory warning Google Chrome users of multiple vulnerabilities affecting desktop versions on Windows, macOS, and Linux. The flaws, detailed in CIVN-2025-0288, could let remote attackers execute code, steal data, or bypass security by luring users to malicious websites. Affected versions include Chrome builds prior to 142.0.7444.59/60. CERT-In urges users to update to version 142.0.7444.60 or later. OpenAI Introduces Aardvark, an Agentic Security Researcher That Can Find and Fix Vulnerabilities

OpenAI has unveiled an artificial intelligence (AI) agent called Aardvark that can act as a software security researcher. Built on GPT-5, the agent can analyse code, detect vulnerabilities, and propose fixes. Currently in private beta, Aardvark is being tested by partner organisations. OpenAI says the tool aims to make software systems more secure by automating vulnerability detection and remediation.
