Sony has announced that the upgraded version of PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) is now rolling out to more games as part of a PS5 system update. The upscaling technology will now support Silent Hill f, Silent Hill 2, Crimson Desert, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Alan Wake 2, and other games on PS5 Pro.

Embark Studios CEO has said that some of Arc Raiders' AI-generated voice lines were re-recorded with human actors after the launch of the game. The Embark boss said that human actors were much better than AI. "“There is a quality difference. A real professional actor is better than AI; that's just how it is,” he said.

Resident Evil Requiem has now sold over 6 million copies, Capcom has confirmed. The survival horror game has also become the fastest title in the Resident Evil franchise to reach the sales milestone. Requiem launched on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X on February 27 and went on to sell 5 million copies in 5 days.

Sony has announced the PS Plus Game Catalogue lineup for March.
