Baldur's Gate 3 and Divinity developer Larian Studios is facing backlash after CEO Sven Vincke said in an interview that the company was using generative AI for game development. Vincke, however, said the studio's next game, Divinity, won't have any AI generated content.

GTA 6 introduces a character-led story anchored by dual protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. Dambuster Studios has confirmed that Dead Island 3 is in development. The game is targeting a 2028 launch. Parts of the game were in early production, the studio said in its financial report. Dead Island 2 was released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X on April 21, 2023.

Hollow Knight: Silksong's first major expansion has been confirmed. Developer Team Cherry announced Tuesday that Sea of Sorrow will launch in 2026. The expansion will add new areas, bosses, tools, and more. The studio also announced a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Hollow Knight.
