The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has extended the PAN-Aadhaar linking deadline to December 31, 2025, giving taxpayers more time to complete the mandatory process. Linking PAN with Aadhaar keeps it active, prevents penalties, and helps verify identities. Users can pay the linking fee and submit their request via the Income Tax e-Filing Portal in both pre-login and post-login modes. The portal also allows checking the link status online to confirm successful completion or pending status.

A new leak suggests Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset will debut in two versions, including a standard model and a Pro variant. Both will use TSMC’s 2nm N2P process and a 2+3+3 CPU core layout, but the Pro will feature LPDDR6 memory, a faster GPU, and enhanced AI capabilities.
