Apple Set to Take Nearly Half of TSMC’s 2nm Chip Production: Report

TSMC is reportedly set to begin mass production of 2-nanometer chips in late 2025, with capacity at its Baoshan and Kaohsiung plants expected to remain fully utilised through 2026. Apple is said to have secured nearly half of the output, making it TSMC’s top customer, while Qualcomm ranks second. Other initial adopters of the process include AMD, Broadcom, Intel, and MediaTek. The technology is expected to debut in Apple’s iPhone 18 series in 2026.

As per the Meta-owned instant messaging platform, users can draft a basic text, and the AI-powered writing assistant will provide suggestions for improvement, including different tones and styles. WhatsApp said that its new Writing Help is built on top of Private Processing technology, and the chats or responses will not be read by anyone other than the user.
