Google’s Pixel phones might get a new Gemini Space feature as it has been spotted on the latest Canary developer build of Android. The feature, said to be an upgrade 'At a Glance', will reportedly show users sports cards and birthdays of contacts on the lock screen, home screen, and the always-on display. However, it is unclear when Google will make the feature available to all Pixel users.

Samsung released its Android 16-based One UI 8 operating system (OS) at Galaxy Unpacked 2025 earlier this month. While only the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE run on the OS out-of-the-box, a tipster suggests that internal testing of the firmware for two older Galaxy devices has begun. Internal test builds of the firmware are said to have been spotted on the server for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4.

International Data Corporation (IDC) has released its Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker report. As per the report, the global smartphone market has grown by 1 percent in Q2 2025 from the same quarter last year.
